This week's #GibsonCountyKind inspires us to embrace gratitude and kindness! 💖 Take a moment to make a list of things you are grateful for and consider sharing it with someone special. 🤝 As Akilatt Hughes wisely reminds us, "Don't let your ice cream melt while you are counting someone else's sprinkles." Focus on your own blessings rather than comparing yourself to others. 🍦 Remember, being thankful is linked to greater happiness. 😊 Reflecting on what you are grateful for is essential! 🤔 🌈

We’re excited to share our fun dress-up days for the final week of school before winter break!👕
📝Please note: CASE testing will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so we kindly ask that students keep outfits simple and not distracting (no Grinch costumes or anything that could interfere with testing).
Thank you for helping us keep the focus on learning while still enjoying the fun! ✅🧠

Please join us in congratulating these incredible individuals who were chosen by their peers for their outstanding contributions to our school:
🏅 Teacher of the Year – Rachel Curry
🌟 Novice Teacher of the Year – Abby Lewis
🧡 Support Staff of the Year – Stephanie Newmon
Thank you for all you do! 👏💐

We’re sharing the PowerPoint presentation from last week’s meeting about the 3rd Grade Retention Law. This presentation includes important information for parents of 3rd grade students regarding the law, its impact, and what you need to know moving forward.

The Gibson County Special School District is required to complete a TISA Accountability Report, which details how the district uses TISA funds to achieve specific goals for student achievement.
The TISA Accountability Report promotes efforts for school improvement. By providing feedback on academic performance, school climate, and student support services, parents help ensure transparency and guide data-driven decisions. Their input enables educators and administrators to identify strengths and areas for growth, fostering a more responsive and inclusive learning environment. This collaborative process strengthens the partnership between families and schools, ultimately benefiting student success.
